HMCS Yukon Dive Specialist Award

Become a HMCS Yukon Dive Specialist. This is an elite status that is only offered to the most committed wreck divers who have achieved complete training. This is not easy and not for everyone. Click here to apply for your HMCS Yukon Dive Specialist Award.

To qualify, you must have the following

1. 20 Logged Dives on the HMCS Yukon within a five year period of time
2. 4 Academy of Scuba Wreck Diver Certifications (earned on the Yukon). Qualifying courses include:
   • Basic Wreck Diver
   • Intermediate Wreck Diver
   • Wreck Cartographer
   • Sidemount Wreck Diver
   • Night Wreck Diver
   • Bags and Reels Workshop Diver
   • Advanced Wreck Diver
3. Do a complete dive briefing and overview presentation of the HMCS Yukon (in the classroom)

There is no cost for this award. However, you must complete all the above requirements. Once you have completed items 1 and 2 above, please fill out the Award Application. Once your application has been accepted, you will be slotted for a time to do your presentation and briefing.
